Overview

The Outlaw Game is a browser based game created by Mika Hielkema Suutari.

The game was programmed using PHP with a few features utilizing Javascript.

In the game, you create characters called "Outlaws", and you can do various jobs to gain money and experience, which can be used to level up and buy equipment for your character.

You can also create a gang, which adds a bonus to your job rewards depending on the size of the gang.

There isn't really an "ending" to the game.
(Maybe we should add a purchasable item called "The End" which just deletes your character?)

Privacy policy

What information is collected:
To use your account, you need to set a username, a password and an email address. To create a character, you need to set a (hopefully fictional) first name and a surname.

Where information is collected from:
During account registration and during character creation. We do not set or read any tracking cookies.

Why is information collected:
Username and password for login. Your email address does not need to be activated or valid, but it is recommended to enter a valid email address to use our "Forgot password?"-feature.

How is information collected:
User input during registration. Usernames and emails are stored in plaintext. Passwords are MD5-hashed.

Who information is shared with or sold to:
User information will not be shared or sold with anyone.

What rights users have over their data:
Users can change their password, or delete their accounts and all information related to their account from the Settings-page after logging in.
